Welcome!!!

[ Saturday ]

Since it's holidays, and I have nothing better to do, I unpacked my PS2 and started playing again.
I've always been a game geek. :P

I've got several PS2 games. Mostly strategy, RP, adventure and survival horror.

And I have some mistakes, like "hello kitty: Roller rescue", I finished that in one day and gave it to my 4 year-old cousin next, but I guess her brain must be broken since she only knows how to drive hello kitty to a wall and laugh like the madwoman that she is.

Since I've got nothing better to do, I'll try to post all my games here, with covers, classification, and my review and hints for the game.

Also, I do not use a fake PS2, nor one with a chip. Chips ruin PlayStation systems, if you're trying to get one, think again, because it's better to buy games, than to have to send your PS2 to be fixed or have the screen turn yellow.

My PS2 games.

Survival Horror games (not suited for under 17-as the cover says)

-Project Zero (零 in Japan-read ZERO, Fatal Frame in America)

I'll be honest with you, this is the worst(in my opinion)of all the 3 games already released.
Probably because of the graphics and the lack of realistic movement (things that on other games have been improved).

~SPOILER~
It tells the story of a high school girl-named Miko- that goes looking for her brother at an hunted house, get's locked inside by evil spirits, and uses a camera with powers to exocise the ghosts and recue her brother.
~SPOILER OVER~

I still haven't finished this game completly, I'm still on the first try. Because fighting more than one ghost is really dificult, since the movements and graphics aren't the best.

But the story is really interesting, it's one of the things that make me love Team Project Zero (the creators of the game). One other great thing is that after you've finished the game once, you get costumes, things for the camera, an extra ending, hard and nightmare dificulty settings, and lot's of extras, not to mention that you unlock new ghosts.

Overall this is a very good game, It as a great plot, and only lacks realistic movements, and better graphics, things that are present in later games.
It is a must if you truly wish to understand the other games.

In a 0 to 20 this would be a 15.

(Note: the Japanese version as a diferent default costume than the others, since on the original game Miko-the playable chara- was a high school student and had the school uniform, they though that they should age her, thus making her a new outfit, changing her black hair to brown and making her taller.)

-Project Zero II: Crimson Butterfly (零 紅い蝶 in Japan-read Zero: Akai Chou, Fatal Frame II: Crimson butterfly in America)

This game is a sequel to the first, but in the lines of the plot it's set a little sonner than the events of the last one.

~SPOILERS~
I tells us the story of Mio and Mayu, twin sisters that get lost on the woods, after being separated Mio-the main chara- stumbles into a hunted village and starts looking for her twin, hoping to get them out.
~SPOILERS OVER~

This game is so much better than the other one! In fact lot's of people say that this is their favorite game of all Project Zero series, mine is the next one. :P
The camera movements are much better, and they look more realistic, also the graphics are good to, but if you take a picture to close to a ghost you'll be able to see somethings that shouldn't be there *wink*.

This is by far the easy game of the series, the puzzles are very simple, and you always have a clue as to what to do next. Even if you get lost you have a nice ghost that will give you hints with the game!

I've already played this game 2 times, in easy and normal mode, I started the hard mode but still haven't finished.

You also have the chance of playing with 2 diferent chara's-Mio and Mayu- only using the later to see which path to take.

Like the first game you have tons of extras, including suits that girls that age should even look at, much less wear lol.

I'll give it a 17.

(Note: as usual, the american's just couldn't keep their hands out of this, so they changed Mio and Mayu's faces, so that they didn't look so round and childish, but then again, the fact that they're helpless little girls stuck on a hunted village is what scares us the most :)

-Project Zero III: The Tormented (零 刺青の聲 in Japan-read Zero: Shisei no Koe (the voice of the tatoo), Fatal Frame III the tormented)

My favorite game of all times!

~SPOILERS~
The game follows Rei Kurosawa, a 23 year old freelance photographer. While on a freelance assignment taking pictures of a supposedly haunted mansion the image of her deceased fiancé appears in the photographs. Afterwards, Rei begins having strange dreams of an old Japanese manor during a heavy snowfall and observes her fiancé entering the house. She follows his figure into the house, where the dream becomes a nightmare.
MUAHAHAHAH lol
~SPOILERS OVER~

Insted of being locked inside a hunted house, or stuck on a hunted village, this time you have realistic nightmares, that soon turn reality, and ghosts of those that are long gone are remembered hunting your dreams until you became one too.

This certanly can give people the chills, specially if you play it at night :)

The ghosts are very realistic, you'll probably jump out of your seat when you see one, the movements are better, but one thing-that happens in all these games- is that they run/walk very very painfully slow.

I'll give it a 19 for all those good times!

(Note: *gasp* No major changes in here guys, just some translation errors and stuff ^^)

-TЯAPT (Kagero II: Dark Illusion in Japan)

I really like this game, it's from Team Project Zero, so it had to be good.

It as an interesting plot, and is played along the lines of ~killing~ and ~doujin game~.

~SPOILERS~
The player assumes the role of Princess Allura, who has been framed for the murder of her father, King Olaf. On the night of the King's murder, Allura is accused of killing him by her stepmother, Catalina. With the help from her friend Rachel, Allura is able to escape into a forest. On the run from assassins, she acquires the ability to set a series of traps, which are the only means she has of defending herself from her pursuers.
~SPOILERS OVER~

It's like an all you can eat buffet, except you kill insted of eating XD

Also as got unlockable costumes, and new traps after you finish the game and get high scores.

The movements are puppet like, and slow-just like on Project Zero- except that in this game you need then to be slow, or you're dog meat.

I think it deserves a 16.

(Note: No diference between the japanese version and the american, but the voices are still in japanese)

These are my survival horror games, i'll post the other ones soon!
